The Zhuhai Chamber of Commerce of Importers and Exporters (ZHCCIE) has been granted the approval of the city government and is registered with the city Civic Affairs Bureau. ZHCCIE is a nonprofit social-service organization comprised of voluntarily participating enterprises and industries which are engaged in import/export trade and foreign economic cooperation. The Chamber operates under the guidance of the Zhuhai Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau. ZHCCIE is an intermediary management organization which serves as a bridge linking enterprises, government entities, and markets. The Chamber of Commerce offers a comprehensive array of services to member enterprises. For this reason, we extend a sincere invitation to foreign trade enterprises of all kinds to join our organization and become members of the ZHCCIE family. Through cooperation we can advance and promote the development of foreign trade in our city.
In accordance with the resolutions of the 4th General Assembly of ZHCCIE Members, the requirements for admission to the Chamber of Commerce are as follows: |
1. Conditions of Admittance |
| Without exception all applicants wishing to gain membership in the ZHCCIE must be registered with the City Administration for Industry and Commerce, Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureaus at the city, state, and national levels, and have been granted the proper credentials to engage in foreign trade. Enterprises from any field related to foreign trade and economics may apply (Include fields such as finance, insurance, etc.) |
| 2. Required Materials |
At the time of application, enterprises are required to submit the following materials:
1. Zhuhai Chamber of Commerce of Importers and Exporters Applicant Registration Form
2. Photocopies of P.R.C. Import and Export Enterprise Certificate of Approval awarded by the Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureaus at the provincial, and city levels, and the Department of Commercial Affairs.
3. Photocopies of a Corporate Business License awarded by the Administration for Industry and Commerce. |
3. Admissions Procedures

1. The applicant enterprise must provide the Chamber of Commerce with all relevant materials.
2. After having received approval from the Chamber of Commerce, applicant enterprises are required to pay yearly dues in the amount of RMB 1000Ôª. Enterprises will be award a certificate of ZHCCIE membership and a membership card. Having gained membership, Chamber of Commerce members will enjoy the benefits and services provided by the ZHCCIE. |
4. Range of Primary Services Provide to Member Enterprises |
Serving as a bridge linking member enterprise with the government, and international markets.
1.Disseminate information regarding national laws, rules, guidelines, and instructions and monitor the compliance of member enterprise.
2.Represent the interests of member enterprises and express their state of affairs, points of view, and suggestions to the government for reference in the official decision making process. This includes making proposals to the government regarding relevant policies.
3.Strengthen interaction with relevant governmental departments and promoted robust relations between member enterprises and the departments of Customs, Taxation, Foreign Exchange, Inspection and Quarantine, Industry and Commerce, Banking Insurance, Foreign Trade and Economics, and so on. These services are provided in support of enterprises.
4.Represent member enterprises and international professional conferences, strengthen ties with international Organizations in related fields, and exchange information. Offer organizational and consulting services to member enterprises entering international markets, and help to establish and develop cooperative relationships.
Under the direct leadership of the Counsel and the municipal Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation Bureau, carry out the requirements of the government and member enterprises and other important responsibilities of the Chamber of Commerce.
1.Assume responsibility for services of the Zhuhai Trade Association delegation to the China Export Commodities Fair.
2.Organize online public bidding for textile products, procurement of certifications for manufacturing sites, deliver import/export licenses for certified and non-mechanical electronic products, and other related efforts.
3.Work in conjunction with the departments of Customs, Taxation, Foreign Currency Exchange, Inspection and Quarantine, and others in order to harmonize operations.
4.Assist member enterprises expand into foreign markets, including areas such as overseas finance, engineering contacting, and equipment procurement, etc.
5.Implement a ¡°Foreign Investment Export Production Base¡± and financial counseling services. Lead foreign investment enterprises in the development of scientific, engineering, and trade related industries and economic sectors in the promotion of brand exportation.
Coordinate and guide the import-export operations to maintain normal order.
1.Under the guidance of the National Chamber of Commerce of Importers and Exporters, integrate changes in international markets, and offer guidance to.
2.Organize member enterprises in response to foreign actions against local products related to dumping, Subsidies, and ensures proper measures are take to appeal. Protect the just interests of member enterprises.
Consultation and Services --- Provide comprehensive services for member enterprises that are expanding into international markets. This includes the establishment of an Exhibition Center, organization of participation of member enterprises in foreign and domestic trade fares, and professional conferences. Organize the participation of member enterprises in foreign and domestic market reviews, research, marketing events, and trade talks. Assist member enterprises with applications for licenses related import and export activities. Inorder to provide member enterprises with services related to information, communications, and personal, ZHCCIE has initiated WTO information consulting, implement the Chamber of Commerce website, Training Center, and Translation Center. |
